What to include in a handyman invoice
Small jobs deserve clear invoices too. A good handyman invoice has:
- 1
Your business info
Name, logo, phone and email, plus your license number where it’s required.
- 2
Client name and job address
Who you worked for and where.
- 3
Date of the work
The day of the visit — or each date if the job took several visits.
- 4
Labor
Hours × rate, or a flat price per task (“Mount TV — $120”).
- 5
Parts and materials
List parts separately so your client sees what they paid for.
- 6
Trip or service charge
If you charge one, put it on its own line.
- 7
Total, due date and how to pay
Make it obvious what’s owed, by when, and how to pay you.
InvoCue builds it from one voice note — even when you’re still on the ladder.
